Citrus Ice Coffee
This is not your normal over-sweetened-is-this-even-coffee drink. This is a mature iced latte with a citrusy twist! This cool refresher is created by coffee roaster and enthusiast, Aadel Kersh, who knows how to match the Arabica aromas of coffee with a fruity twist. This recipe is developed with oranges in mind (and you must give this a try), but you can explore different versions of it by using other citrus fruits as well.
Ingredients (1 serving)
1 capsule of Sjöstrand Espresso N°2
1 dl cold milk or milk alternative (optional)
Ice (enough to fill your glass)
1 large glass (2,5 dl)
1 cup (for espresso brewing)
Step 1. Make sure you have ice ready
Step 2. Brew a cup of espresso. Let it cool.
Step 3. Peel the orange and flavour the inside of your glass with the peel by dragging it inside and around the rim. Avoid getting any juice in the glass, the flavour should only come from the peel.
Step 4. Fill your glass with ice. Pour in the cooled coffee. If you want milk, add it now.
Step 5. Serve immediately and enjoy it cool.
