You never get too old for hot cocoa
The warm beverage loved by young as well as not so young. This recipe is a rich and luxurious take on the classic hot drink, as it’s made with real chocolate. It gives the drink a richer and smoother character without any grains of sugar.
Ingredients (1 serving)
2 dl milk of your choice
1 dl chopped or grated 70% chocolate bar of good quality
1 dl cream (for whipping)
1 large cup
1 metal spoon
1 Sjöstrand Milk Frother
1 electrical whisk (unless you have the strength and patience to whisk it yourself)
Step 1. Chop or grate your chocolate. Set aside a small amount for garnishing in the end.
Step 2. Add the milk, and chocolate to your milk frother and start a warm frothing.
Step 3. Whisk the cream.
Step 4. Pour the warm chocolate milk in your cup, top it with a nice big dollop of whipped cream and sprinkle some chocolate on top. Sip it right away to avoid pour over when the cream melts.
