PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE
The pumpkin spice latte (or PSL) is probably the most iconic American coffee drink. Its spicy notes, richness, and sweetness makes the drink definitive for autumn, but also is a good way to ease into the Christmas flavours. Conveniently, you don’t need to go to the US or to go visit an American coffee chain to enjoy a cup of PSL. You can make one at home yourself with this recipe.
Ingredients (1 serving)
1 capsule Sjöstrand Espresso N°2
Milk (3% fat recommended)
1 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup (Recipe here)
1 latte glass
1 measuring spoon (tablespoon)
1 Sjöstrand Milk Frother
Step 1. Attach the whisk without the frothing ring inside the milk frother.
Step 2. Pour milk up to the indicator line for maximum frothing.
Step 3. Brew a lungo (Yes, you can do it with an espresso capsule)
Step 4. Mix pumpkin spice syrup into the coffee
Step 5. Pour in the warmed milk and taste. Add more pumpkin spice syrup until you’re satisfied.
