
RETURN POLICY

At a glance
We stand behind everything we sell. Our return policy varies depending on the reason behind your request, the product’s condition and warranty status. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, we can offer either a refund or a replacement—with a few exceptions (see below)—within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase. A return within 30 days requires the products to be in sellable condition which means that all appliances must be unused, and that the coffee packaging should be originally sealed.
When a product is defective or faulty, we offer a full refund and cover any shipping costs and any applicable customs fees within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase. You will be responsible for any packaging fees. You must first reach out to our customer service team to receive return approval prior to sending any items with product deficiency back to Sjöstrand.
Defective products can be replaced within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase.
Espresso machines get free repairs within two (2) *or three (3) years from the original date of purchase.

Refunds
A credit will be issued to your credit card or original method of payment within 14 days after we’ve received your return. If you have not received your refund after 14 days, please contact our customer service.
Preparing your return
You are responsible for ensuring that the packaging you choose to return your goods in also protects the goods from any damage. Please see below for detailed instructions on how best to package your Espresso machine.
Return Policy Exceptions
Product(s) past its warranty period
We always encourage that our products be sent back to us for repairs even when they have passed their warranty. Our certified service technicians will only be using original parts to make sure that each product will be in top shape. Original parts used will always be free of charge, but you will be responsible for any applicable delivery, customs, and packaging fees.
Return requests due to a change in preference
Within thirty (30) days from the original date of purchase, we offer a full refund of the purchase amount, however, delivery, customs, and packaging fees will be paid by you as the customer.
Free Add-ons
Add-on products (e.g., coffee sent along with a machine for free) cannot be kept by the customer if the main item in the order were to be returned.
*Warranty time
Appliances (e.g., espresso machines, milk frother, and french press) purchased from a retail store come with a 2-year warranty. Espresso machines purchased from any of the Sjöstrand online stores come with an extended 3-year warranty (applies to purchases made from September 2021 onwards).
