Terms & Conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) regulate all use of all content of the domain sjostrandcoffee.com (the “Site”). The Terms and Conditions will be valid for all your future transactions with Sjöstrand Trading AB (“Sjöstrand”; may also be referred to as “us” or “we”) and visits to the Site.
Sjöstrand reserve the right to revise the Terms and Conditions. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions. Users are responsible for keeping themselves updated with such changes.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall confer any rights upon any third party. The agreement created by these Terms and Conditions is between you and Sjöstrand.
By placing an order on the Site, you are making an offer to us to purchase the products you have selected on these Terms and Conditions. This does not mean that your order has been accepted. All orders are subject to acceptance by us and subject to availability. We will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an e-mail that confirms that the product has been dispatched. The contract between us and you (the “Contract”) will be effective from the time that the dispatch confirmation is sent.
Sjöstrand may decline an offer or cancel a purchase without being liable for any damages or costs. Sjöstrand will notify you by email in advance of any such action, to try and resolve the issue and will return any applicable payments made to us without deduction. Our liability for losses you suffer as a result of us breaking this Contract is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product you purchased. Sjöstrand is not responsible for any indirect losses which happen as a side effect of the main loss or damage.
We deliver to the following countries: Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Germany, Austria, France.
All orders are fulfilled at our distribution center in Falun, Sweden. Normally, your purchased goods will be received within one to three (1-3) business days within Sweden and within three to five (3-5) business days within the EU.
Sjöstrand will notify you by email when your goods are to be dispatched. The message will contain details of estimated delivery time of the Goods purchased by you.
From the moment the Goods have been received, Sjöstrand shall not be liable for any loss, theft, or damage until the Goods have been returned to Sjöstrand.
Sjöstrand ships your order according to Incoterm Delivered Duty Paid (DDP), which means all taxes and fees are included in the price shown at checkout.
Right of withdrawal
Sjöstrand aims to always provide high quality products that are fault free and undamaged. On occasion, however, products may need to be returned. Returns are governed by these Terms and Conditions. All returned products must be returned in a clean condition according to our return instructions and with all accessories. Sjöstrand does not provide any packaging material and does not cover any packaging costs.
If you are not satisfied with an item and wish to return it, this has to be done within 30 days after you received your order. Note that all items must be returned in original condition and you must not remove any of the accessories, manuals or original packaging from the product(s). We do not accept returns on gift cards. We will not accept refunds on broken, missing, used, faulty or in any way altered items.
The product is considered as used if the product either lacks a seal or has a broken seal or is otherwise not suitable for return due to health or hygiene reasons (coffee) or as soon as any liquid or capsule is inserted into any of the appliances.
If you've received a faulty, damaged or incorrect item, please read "complaints" below before making your return.
How to return
Fill out the return note which was included in your order. Mark the products you want to return and send them back to us, preferably in the same box as they were delivered in. Use the pre-paid return label when returning your products. Orders delivered with Budbee and DHL will not include a pre-paid return label, please follow the return instructions provided by Budbee and DHL.
If we accept the return, your refund will be credited to the payment method used when you purchased the product(s) after we have received the correct returned item. If the return for any reason is not accepted, we will reach out the same day with more information.
Once we have received, processed and accepted your return, we will contact you by email with a confirmation. Please note that it may take up to 14 days for us to process and refund your return.

Exchanges are not available. Please place a new order to secure the item you wish to have instead.
Do not hesitate to email us in advance in case you received the wrong item or need to make a reclaim. Please see more information below “Complaints”.
All uncollected goods will be charged for delivery, return and handling costs. The cost of this is currently 250 SEK/25 EUR/189 DKK. Uncollected items are not counted as cancellation of your purchase.

If you receive product(s) which do not match those that you ordered, unless accompanied by an explanatory note or other kind of information detailing the changes, stating reasons for the changes, and setting out your options, you should contact us within 30 days after you have received your ordered item(s) to arrange collection and return. You will be given the option to have the product(s) replaced with those ordered (if available) or to be refunded through the payment method used by you when purchasing the product(s). Refunds and replacements will be issued upon our receipt of the returned product(s).
If any product(s) you have purchased have faults when they are delivered to you, you should contact Sjöstrand within 30 days after the day you received your ordered item(s) to arrange collection and return. Upon receipt of the returned product(s), we will initiate a refund to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the product(s).
If product(s) are damaged in transit and the damage is apparent on delivery, you should sign the delivery note to the effect that the product(s) have been damaged. In any event, you should report such damage to Sjöstrand within 10 days after the day you received your ordered item(s) and arrange collection and return. Upon receipt of the returned product(s), the price of the product(s), as paid by you, will be refunded to you through the payment method used by you when purchasing the product(s).
If your product shows a malfunction that is not a result of improper use or wear and tear a warranty claim can be made. Our guarantee follows the EU guidelines of 2 years. The statutory guarantee period however, in which we provide afters sales services at no extra costs (except packaging), can vary depending on the country.
General Data Protection Regulation
Sjöstrand does not guarantee that all items included in the Sjöstrand web shop are in stock at the time of your order. In the event that an item is unavailable, Sjöstrand will contact you shortly by phone or by e-mail. Sjöstrand cannot promise that the content of the site is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors at all times. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up to date. Sjöstrand may, at any time, amend the content of the site. maintained by outside organizations. In situations where Sjöstrand acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. Sjöstrand cannot be held responsible for any damaged caused from using the site or, for that matter, not being able to use the site. Sjöstrand cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the site.
Prices & Payments
Prices are liable to change at any time, but changes will not affect orders in respect of which we have already sent you a Dispatch Confirmation.
Our site contains a large number of Products, and it is always possible that, despite our best efforts, some of the Products listed on our site may be incorrectly priced. We will normally verify prices as part of our dispatch procedures so that, where a Product's correct price is les than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount when dispatching the Product to you. If a Product's correct price is higher than the price stated on our site, we will normally, at our discretion, either contact you for instructions before dispatching the Product, or reject your order and notify you of such rejection.
We are under no obligation to provide the Product to you at the incorrect (lower) price, even after we have sent you a Dispatch Confirmation, if the pricing error is obvious and could have reasonably been recognised by you as a mispricing.
We make a great effort to have all offered products on the Site in stock. In the case of incorrect stock balance affecting your order, we reserve the right not to accept your order. We will notify you by e-mail in advance to try and resolve the issue and will return any applicable payments made to us without deduction:
Payment for all Products must be by credit, debit card or through PayPal. We accept payment by Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, American Express and MasterCard as well as ApplePay, GPay, Swish and Klarna.
In case of Force Majeure, Sjöstrand’s obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and Sjöstrand can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by Sjöstrand. A Force Majeure is in the event of war, civil war, revolution, riot, governmental measures, strike, lockout, blockage, failure of electricity, telephone or internet service, natural disasters or similar events. Under such circumstances, Sjöstrand will attempt to resolve all issues in a timely manner.
