Our machines are fully repairable with a guarantee of 2 years or more depending on the country you live in. Even after the warranty expiration we can offer repair and maintenance services for a cost. Registering the warranty helps you to keep track of your product information and helps us to handle your service requests faster. In case of loss of your purchase this can help us to acquire the necessary information about your purchase. Please keep your receipt either way.

Yes, our guarantee follows the EU guidelines and is 2 years. The statutory guarantee period however, in which we provide afters sales services at no extra costs (except packaging), can vary depending on the country you live in. For a claim to be valid, the defect must have already been present at the time of purchase. Sjöstrand is not responsible for defects arising later, for example as a result of improper use or wear and tear.
We always intend to reduce waste and therefore try to repair a product before a replacement is made. Solutions can vary on each individual case based on age of the product and type of deficiency. In general we follow the hierarchy of remedies

Yes, we encourage you to extend your machines life time for as long as possible. After the warranty expired we send you a quote with the estimated repair costs on request.
If you bought your product directly from us we are able to trace back your purchase. Otherwise we always need a receipt of purchase. This is for us to prove the warranty is still valid.
